IT'S NOT ALL WRIGHT FOR CHIZZY

Dave suffered another defeat in the Betway Premier League in Rotterdam this week.

Facing newly crowned UK Open Champion Peter Wright, Chizzy found himself 0-2 and 2-5 behind before finally sealing the match 4-7 at the Rotterdam Ahoy.

MIXED RESULTS IN BARNSLEY

Dave was at the Barnsley Metrodome for Players Championship events 3 & 4 this weekend and it was a mixed bag results-wise.

Saturday saw Chizzy in the last 16, defeating Andy Parsons 6-3, Peter Hudson 6-4 and John Henderson 6-2 before he lost out to Steve West 4-6.

Sunday was not to follow suit however, as Dave lost out in the first round to Darren Johnson 4-6.

OPEN DRAW DOESN'T FAVOUR CHIZZY

Dave headed down to Butlins in Minehead for the Coral UK Open this weekend, looking to continue his good form from the Premier League the night before.

Coming into the event at round three on Friday, he first defeated Jamie Caven 10-4 on stage two.

The open draw format saw Chizzy draw the number one seed in the qualifiers, Peter Wright and lost out 5-10 with Snakebite going on to win the tournament.

CHIZZY SUFFERS DEFEAT IN SCOTLAND

The Premier League visited Scotland this week, and Dave was up against former two-time World Champion Gary Anderson in his home country.

It was a partizan crowd at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, and they were delighted as Chizzy fell behind 0-5 to their favourite darting son.

Dave continued to fight and did bring it back to 3-5 but it wasn't enough to prevent his opponent taking the next two legs and the match 3-7.
