CHIZZY BLOWS AWAY THE HURRICANE

Dave gained his first win of the 2017 Premier League, defeating Kim Huybrechts at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

Chizzy broke twice to lead 5-2 before taking two of the next four legs, including a 141 finish to eventually close out the match 7-4.

CHIZZY INTO TOP SEEEDINGS AT UK OPEN

Dave secured his spot in the UK Open Finals, finishing 12th in the Order of Merit.

On day four, he reached the quarter finals before losing out to Ryan Searle 3-6 and added more money on day five, losing out to Rob Cross 2-6 in the last 32.

On the final day, he lost out in round two to Antonio Alcinas 4-6 but it was enough to guarantee him a spot in round three at the televised finals.

CHIZZY ASSURES UK OPEN QUALIFICATION

Dave made his way into the UK Open Finals, after three good results at the UK Open Qualifiers in Wigan.

On day one, he reached the last 32, but it was on day two that he really excelled, reaching the semi finals, before losing out to Simon Whitlock 2-6.

On day three, with qualification assured, he reached the last 16, before he lost out 2-6 to Michael van Gerwen.

CHIZZY FAILS TO HIT THE JACKPOT

It was a bad night in Nottingham for Dave as he came up against a fully firing Adrian Lewis at the Motorpoint Arena.

Chizzy fell 1-3 behind early on before some super darts from the former two-time World Champion Lewis, saw him extend his lead to five legs before eventually seeing off the match and putting Dave on the wrong end of a 2-7 scoreline.
